Hope
I remember when a grandma figure in my life was diagnosed with breast cancer. Every day after that when I saw her, she would promptly say "where is your pink today?! I don't care that you don't like pink, support the cause and go put some on!". The next time upon questioning I proudly pulled out a pink head scarf and whipped it on. Her smile was priceless. Her influence made my sister and I keenly aware of the importance of outwardly showing support by proudly wearing pink. Louise being the warrior that she is, has since beaten the battle against breast cancer.
My sister and I being forever touched still proudly wear, buy and support pink in everyday activities that we enjoy doing.
